Love and leadership?
One belongs at home. The other belongs at work. Right?
Listen to this Missing Conversations podcast interview with hosts and Altus executive coaches Steven Jones, Ph.D. and Amy Vodarek, RN, MScN, PCC, NCC, where I invite us to think again about how love can make us better leaders.
Together, we explore how:
▪️love helps us outgrow the patterns that keep us stuck
▪️moving beyond me vs. you co-creates a relationship of respect and wholeness
▪️conflict can become a relational upgrade
▪️one simple question reorients our contributions to each other
I grew up learning love was something you earned: perform well, keep the peace, don’t ask for too much. She shares how those early lessons can follow leaders into the workplace as over-functioning, people-pleasing, and disconnection. Suddenly, the “personal stuff” is driving professional results.
So I did the deeper work of rethinking what love really means and how it shows up in how we relate, connect to, repair, and grow with each other. Then, built a practice helping others do the same.
