What to do when motivation is no longer enough

I really don’t think I need buns of steel. I’d be happy with buns of cinnamon.” Ellen DeGeneres

Almost a month has passed by since hundreds of millions of New Year’s resolutions, forged by the best of intentions, were set.  The gyms were packed the first few weeks – with health seekers passionately clamoring for classes and equipment, fueled by motivation.

I’d be willing to wager that, at this point in the year, the majority of them have already either forgotten or forsworn the best of intentions.

Why does we struggle so much in the marriage of desire and action?

No doubt, that many abandon their goals simply because they think they ought see results straightaway.

Motivation will kick start the process of change.  But how can we sustain it?
In this week’s video I address just that question.

MINDSHIFT CHALLENGE:  How do you stay inspired to keep moving forward?  To continue to take steps toward your intended goals?  What is the fuel that sustains you?  Share with us below.  And, if you are having difficulty staying motivated, where are you getting tripped up?

We all benefit from this Tribe’s wisdom.  Be generous with your learning.  As Dr. Christiane Northrup says, “A rising tide lifts all ships.”

In love and service,
